Powerful organic sequestering agents to get the best result in Fat
Liquoring & water softning.
2. Combine with almost all polyvalent metallic ions viz. Ca, Mg,
Fa, Heavy metal ions to form stable soluble complexes and thus inhibiting
their usual chemical reactions.

APPLICATIONS : |
DECIWET-EO
is suitable for stripping of vegetable tanned and E.I. leathers along
with mild alkalies to give cleaner stripped leathers free from natural
greases, oils etc. The best method is to run the skins with 1 to 1.5%
DECIWET - EO on dry
weight of leathers for 1 hour and leave over night in the bath. Next
day, additions of alkalies for stripping can proceed followed by through
washing, Chrome leathers stores for a long time in wet condition can
be pre-washed
with 0.2 to 0.4% of DECIWET - EO on shaved weight to
ensure uniformity. Use of 0.2% of DECIWET - EO on wet
salted weight, in soak wash in the drum gives cleaner and uniformly
soaked hides and skins. |
